Improving Staff Training Engagement in Fast Food
The Training Challenge
A large US fast food provider was looking for more efficient and effective ways to train their staff. They wanted to move away from unengaging eLearning modules and increase engagement levels and thus learning outcomes through simulations and gamification.
Actions:
- Used Facilitate's 360 Scenario creator to develop a series of gamified learning experiences for new staff.
- The 360 imagery places trainees into the kitchen, customer service counter and drive through service area respectively.
- Trainees must then complete the challenge at each location before proceeding to the next.
- These modules were easily developed by their internal training team and are currently deployed via tablet, but VR headsets will be used in the future.
